We carry a vast Protestant support ... is this a crime?

Gæð a Wyrd swa hio scel!

I only read in English. If you wish me to know what your signature is saying I'm afraid you'll have to translate for me.

Ah, but it is Old English ... Fate always goes as she likes (with Wyrd being the Germanic "personification" of Fate or Destiny.)

decide what you like but you can't be an atheist protestant.

you would be as well claiming to be a lesbian man, or a human elephant.

I worked in IBM Greenock, Alan was a man who worked there, he had a sex change operation and became a lesbian called Karen. Just went and read some of the life story of Joseph Merrick, don't know what point I was going to make their, but it renders it meaning less.

Very interesting. So from that do I take it you have no higher power per se, but prefer to believe in the randomness of the Universe?

Go in peace, brother.

he was a man. then a woman before becoming a lesbian. must be the name alan because i work with an alan who's now rachel. but not a lesbian.

I don't know if I'd totally agree with you there. People aired their different views on a philosophical discussion and seemed to agree to disagree but with a 'live and let live' attitude. The thing that remained intact throughout and the ONE thing that is important is that we all agree that the team we support is Rangers.

Ahem ... nope. That is, thanks for the good wishes, but nope with regards to "randomness of the Universe" and "no higher power". Wyrd is probably too unknown, but try your luck with Fortuna or Tyche to get an idea. (And no, there is no cult or pagan movement or whatnot over here. Though I think if there was one, I would sacrifice something at an altar of Nemesis, so she'd give the Scum what they are due by now.) The point is, if people think that there are higher beings/powers, why should it be just the one? It is definitely the case that there are things out there that humans can't either comprehend, explain, or both. How you deal with that is up to everyone him-/herself. What I do not like nor welcome is people trying to tell me how it has to be according to their beliefs and that there is no other way about it. Especially if their explanation is in no way better than others out there. Which is not to say that each belief does not get their due respect.

And, BTW, I for sure know that Football Fortune is capricious and she'll remain that, no matter which other power you address before a game.

I'm from East Lothian, my grandfather was from Hamilton, and I suppose I never had the same amount of religious issues as guys from the west, however in the last couple of years it seems as though it's actually getting worse out this way,in fact it is getting worse!. I'm a Rangers fan and I have no ties to religion, mind you of all the BHEAST fans I know out here there is only one or two that actually go to the church.
