Jobs For The Boys?

Recommended Posts

My jobs for the boys moan is more about nearly everyone having to be an ex-Rangers player apparently.

But Rangers have a great legacy of good coaches and managers - just look at Alex Ferguson.

Personally I'd be happy to see the likes of Laudrup, Gattuso, Mykhaylychenko, Frank De Boer, Weir, McCall, Wilkins, Gough or McInnes taking up a coaching role...

Others around are Ian Murray, Alan Johnston, Butcher and Brown.

Can we not broaden our horizons just a bit?

Like Barry Ferguson undermined Paul Le Guen to get Walter the job?

Always that kind of suggestion when a manager goes but end of the day results decide it.

remember mowbery had to throw lennon of the team bus and ban him from it it was so blatant.

That's an interesting observation, who do you have in mind? I can only think of Durrant and Jim Stewart as ex-Rangers players, none of the rest played for us that I can think of. I know Gordon Durie has been linked to us today, has he actually got the job?
