Kinnear brought in as Director Of Football with Pardew not even knowing about it. He will take charge of signing and selling players but says he wont affect Pardews job as he wont be picking the team. Yet Pardew currently decides who gets signed or sold. He is either making a mockery of the club or has lost the plot: During the 15-minute interview, Kinnear: â?¢Refused to accept criticism of his credentials, saying he could "open the door to any manager in the world". â?¢Said he wasn't a threat to manager Alan Pardew. â?¢Said he had won three manager of the year awards, when he actually won one at Wimbledon in 1994. â?¢Incorrectly said he had signed goalkeeper Tim Krul, who was brought to the club by Graeme Souness in 2005 . â?¢Mispronounced several players' names, including calling Newcastle managing director Derek Llambias "Lambazi", Yohan Cabaye "Yohan Cabab" and Shola Ameobi "Shola Amamobi".
