calscot 0
It depends on how much you think players owe the fans. The USA is a long way to go by yourself and most people would want to take someone with them for company. The fact he want's to fly business class makes doing that expensive and so he then sees himself well out of pocket for doing what he will probably see as a voluntary bit of his work. Seems to me that the answer is that he should trade in his business class ticket for two coach ones and then use his fame to get a free upgrade... How would it be if it was his wife instead of his brother? It's a difficult one, as we all chance our arms sometimes and turn down voluntary commitments that seem to be too much hassle or leave us out of pocket. I think the real sticking point is that he expects business class travel as that's what he's used to.
Cotter 0
Yeah I'm with nevergreen on this. Narsa have shot themselves in the foot by allowing private arrangements with a prominent rangers player into the open. Totally unprofessional and none of the public's business no matter what you think of Jig's behaviour.
