Hearts, HMRC & us???

Recommended Posts

There is absolutely no appetite to investigate anything which may vindicate Rangers or it's fans by our own media pack. They simply do not want both the flack from the obsessed or to betray their own twisted little agenda's. There are no "pro-Rangers" investigative journalists out there. There are however plenty pro-Celtic (and therefore by defualt it seems anti-Rangers) ones...Chris McLaughlin, Mark Daly, Alex Thomosn etc have invested hundreds of hours into exposing sup;posed wrongdoing by Rangers.

Our day will come! (chuckwuckyla :flute:)

Would the e-petition that has been doing the rounds not be able to offer a platform to investigate HMRC if we managed to get over 100K signatures?

Aye, but sadly we can't get enough signatures!

The RFFF could pay for leaflets to be drawn up to be distributed to fans and to pass on to other sympathetic fans. It should be no bother to get 100,000 signatures if enough people know about it. The leaflets could be distributed by volunteers on match days, either inside or outside Ibrox.

For those fans who don't own a computer, suggestions could be made to get round that problem.

I travel to the match with 4 guys who didn't know a thing about it. The only information they get is from the media. The majority of fans are the same.

Supporters clubs could/should maybe have done a wee bit more

We are not members of a supporters club any more but I agree with your point.

If we can get massive numbers to Manchester we should manage to do this.

Maybe the club itself says a word about this e-petition. If it appears on our website, the journos will sure take it up in another shytestorm and thus draw enough attention from all Bears quiet/silent so far.

On a sidenote, ain't it BDO's job to ask these kind of questions too? Could e.g. SDM not get something into motion here, after speaking out about it already? Ain't MPs not able to get somesuch in motion too?

I have thought about why the club never did anything to promote this but i since put this down to the club trying to keep any of the announcements about this at arms length similarly to the Lord Nimmo Smith judgement. it was only a paltry statement issued as it was relating to the 'Old Company' and didnt really have any effect to the 'New Company'.

However i do think that there could be more done about this. I also dont know if folk knew you can use the same email address twice for this petition....
