Scotland's Most Successful Club Written by Rangers Football Club

 

 

 

RANGERS understands that the Advertising Standards Authority will later this month rule in favour of the club in its investigation into a recent advertising campaign.

 

The ASA received 78 complaints regarding a series of adverts featuring the slogan "Scotland's most successful club".

However the advertising watchdog have not upheld those complaints and will instead back a number of other high profile organisations in recognising the long and rich history which the club enjoys.

Their ruling will follow similar recognition, from the game's governing bodies and a series of independent panels, of the club's long and continued success which has seen a haul of 115 major honours in a 141-year history.

Director of communications James Traynor said: “The Club was never in any doubt that this would be the outcome.

“It was a ridiculous claim and we knew the Advertising Standards Authority would take the same view as the football authorities, the European Club Association (ECA), Lord Nimmo Smith and the panel of the London Stock Exchange."

Honestly I think we should drop the 'Rangers Then Rangers Now Rangers Forever' slogan...it's not required and fuels tHeir marketing value.
