Can't find him* in their squad, but one Danny Wilson. Methink I was saying something sarcastical when he signed for them a few weeks back.

*Rogne ... is he not a "Celtic reject", as they say? Oh, he's about to become a freebie ...

Rangersmedia has a topic on Rogne.

I for one would not be surprised if he turned up at us next year.

The Huddersfield Examiner says ...

Glasgow Rangers FC trail ex Huddersfield Town man Scott Arfield

by Dougie Thomson, Huddersfield Daily Examiner

GLASGOW Rangers FC have ex-Huddersfield Town midfielder Scott Arfield on their radar.

Sources close to Glasgow Rangers FC suggest the 24-year-old former Falkirk man, released at the end of last season, is wanted by Scotlandâ??s fallen giants.

Rangers FC boss Ally McCoist is building for a Scottish Second Division title challenge after leading the Gers to last seasonâ??s Division III title.

The financial meltdown of the Glasgow club â?? Scottish champions a record 54 times â?? meant they were dumped in the basement division this time last year.

They began their attempted climb back to the top by winning the championship by a 24-point margin from Peterhead.

Arfield, a former Scotland Under 21 and B international, played in the Scottish Premier League with Falkirk before his three seasons at Town.

Signed for £400,000 when Lee Clark was in charge, he played 119 times, scoring nine goals, but made only 13 starts, and 13 substitute appearances last season.

He was released alongside utility man Tom Clarke, who has joined Preston, and striker Alan Lee, who is being linked with Crawley, Notts County and Tranmere.

Coventry, bossed by Arfieldâ??s former Falkirk manager Steven Pressley, are also said to like the Livingston-born player.

While Rangers are in Division II, they still offer the chance of playing in front of regular 45,000-plus attendances.

Already recruited for next season are strikers Jon Daly, from Dundee United, and Nicky Clark, from Queen of the South, while Honduras international midfielder Arnold Peralta will join subject to a work permit being granted.

Dundee United have signed Queenâ??s Park winger Aidan Connolly, who was said to be interesting Town.

Thought Arfield always looked a decent player when at Falkirk. Good on the ball and seemed to have the knack of finding space further forward.

Unfortunately, his career has certainly stalled and I can't see him improving our first XI to be honest.

And one player who wont be coming back this summer:

Barry Ferguson has signed a new one-year contract with Blackpool with the option of a further year.

The 35-year-old midfielder will embark on his third season at Bloomfield Road when the campaign gets underway on 3 August.
