We just can't register them until September 1st If a transfer fee is involved how do you get release from the selling club's Association though, given that it would be outside the transfer window ? I could be wrong, but I always figured we could sign anyone we wanted just not register them AFAIK there's nothing to stop us paying a fee to have a player made available on a free who we could then sign on a pre-contract.
