I can't honestly believe that every Club above us will end up with more money, we end up with less, and that money comes out of our pocket. And do you know what? But they don't need to breakaway. They are already the SFL. It would be SFL1 clubs who were breaking away. They're also open to litigation. It might not be successful, but it would certainly delay the start of the season. We're worth as much in sponsorship and media rights as the rest of the clubs. How they are going to convince the Gers fans this is the way ahead should be interesting. We should be able to attract a player of a decent level to take us back to the top league, if everything goes to plan 55 can be achieved in season 2014-15 and CL qualification in 2015-16. Just in case the won't be gone. I would honestly rather pay for a season ticket to stay out of their setup than go along with this. Its nothing more than an attempted takeover due to their desperation to get a TV deal including Rangers. For them to push something / anything over the line before next season says the majority of SPL clubs couldnt sustain another full season without the income Rangers provide. What exactly is the difference other than the play off spot? Really, they got around the table for months trying to push 12-12-18 and it was rejected then 2 weeks later they have saved the game? Its embarrassing. And is Hearts troubles solved all of a sudden? The SPL will wont care about individual clubs so long as they feel safer. They should have taken note from the excitement of the championship in England last weekend. They need 2 auto relegation places from the SPL and the 3rd bottom side goes into the any play off. I dont fully agree with the 2nd bottom side being in a play off, thats not the way it works down south, you are in the relegation spots then you a relegated simple as. The play offs should be between the teams in the Div below. Self interest works both ways. I believe Rangers will be playing in this so called Championship next season because another year like last year will see some fans especially the younger fans lost to the game forever. Okay the Rangers fans will always come back once we are challenging for the main title, but by then the games a bogey no-one outside Scotland will be interested anymore, the Sky money will go to the English lower divisions and stay there. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
