North Rd 0
his era did when lloyds refused them funding. but on a small, short term affordable scale. I'm talking when he was part of TBK, didn't he turn to them then.
the gunslinger 3,366
I'm talking when he was part of TBK, didn't he turn to them then. oh yes he did and then didn't. ticketus told them they could deliver whytes shares but the couldn't. iirc ticketus would have provided us with an overdraft. eventually brian kennedy agreed to provide funding instead.
Frankie 8,843
PM spoke well enough. You'd almost think he was ready for all of this.
North Rd 0
PM spoke well enough. You'd almost think he was ready for all of this. What can these type of guys do now, that they couldn't do before to bring money in?
the gunslinger 3,366
we have money. what we lack is integrity and trust.
Frankie 8,843
What can these type of guys do nanswer at they couldn't do before to bring money in? It's a valid question mate. One I've yet to get a full answer for. There are very wealthy RFC fans out there but I'm unconvinced they're prepared to spend the vast sums required to buy the club.
craig 5,199
And I guess all those naughty people in the RSA chasing him for his tax evasion stuff are all just mean people, since King has done no wrongs? His off-field troubles would present the media et al with stories galore and thus negative publicity for the club. Funny how you don't want King involved because of his SARS issues.... Which he has been cleared of as far as I am aware..... Yet defend media misinformation on us and our ebt issues to the hilt.
the gunslinger 3,366
as i always used to say tbk weren't the problem last summer it was the people with money not in tbk. somebody on here was going mental at p murray for only putting up 250k. but how much did other rangers men put up.
North Rd 0
we have money. what we lack is integrity and trust. Running close to a 10m loss already, all, from Capital!
UCF2008 0
Off Topic, why doesn't he trust Ian Harte, Quote " I only trust MM and Walter" I was thinking the same thing myself. Also why should we put 110% trust in MM? Because he's a Rangers man? Because the rumour mill tells us he and Green couldn't stand one another? Who appointed MM as chairman? Was it Green, Ahmad or someone else? I honestly can't remember and can't say I would trust even that much coming out of the horses mouth if I was to go and look it up. The only one out of the lot of them that I could say I personally trust 110% to try and do what's best for Rangers is Walter and even then it's all resting on good intentions and his understanding of the club's traditions. Neither of which have f**k all to do with how the club runs as a business. It really is a sorry state of affairs.
