Premier League CL and relegation

Recommended Posts

Great win for Sunderland. Actually think Di Canio will keep them up. It is Stoke who is in free fall.

QPR and Reading have gone. Villa and Stokes fate lies with Wigan, if Wigan win games they will stay up and it will be 1 from the other 2 to go down. But I think Wigan will go this season. Id like to see Villa and Stoke go, but more so Stoke, they are just a nuisance.

Arsenal flying but made hard work of the Norwich game. Their cup final is Everton tomorrow. Win that and Id say they will be in the champions league. They have 6 games left with the first 5 in London so they should win most.

Would like to see everton take 4th but think chelsea will be too strong.

The Championship is crazy open. From 10th down could go. Wolves in bad position and id like to see blackburn go also.

With respect to relegation Sunderland, Newcastle and Norwich are by no means out of it.

Don't think it will be the Canaries or Geordies but you cant dismiss the possibility.

I fancied Sunderland to go down until this weekend. Interesting to see if that was more than a one off.

Swansea have been a breathe of fresh air in the premier league, unlike a Stoke or Wolves they dont play ugly football or unlike Hull and Blackpool they dont drop like a stone.

Im not so sure Cardiff will be the same. Both these teams have crowds of around 23000 per week and sell out plus Swansea are to increase the size of their ground from next season to 34000, just shows if it was Rangers and Celtic the potential would be massive and we'd need a 70000 seater stadium.
