GovanAllan 0
On twitter saying he can't wait to get back home and play in front of the Ibrox faithful next season.
craig 5,199
Yes from me. Better than what we have and would steady the ship, even being a year older. Will be interesting though given his wages - anyone know what Boca is on ?

For that reason alone it's a No from me.

Hopefully he might take a wage cut, but I agree we need him badly in the defence.
craig 5,199
At 16k I would change my mind. I would like him back but not at anything near that wage. We could get 3 CB's in for that wage - or a CB, creative CM and a striker - all for his one wage. Our issue will be getting shot of him - nobody will pay him those wages at his advancing age so we will have to pay him off. He would need to take AT LEAST a 50% wage cut for it to make sense for us in SFL2 (or whatever the hell league we will be playing in next season). And he probably wont accept that.
forlanssister 3,114
Why would he take a wage cut in the last year of his contract?
GovanAllan 0
Why not? Not saying he will but maybe he will buck the money grabbing trend and surprise us.
simplythebest 0
Why would he take a wage cut in the last year of his contract? If he wants to stay...
Darthter 542
he may be realistic in the fact that his age will probably prevent him getting anything in the region of £16k a week. So he has to either take a wage cut, or take his chances elsewhere. By the sounds of it (and comments in the past) he loves playing for us, so wages might not be a massive issue. IMO, he would be welcomed back. Firstly because he handled the situation last year correctly (transferred over then request to go out on loan), but also because we need a leader on the park, and especially in the middle of defense.
