Rapid get Jelavic transfer money...

Recommended Posts

he also gave them impression this had been paid many months ago.

My understanding was that the payment still owed (now paid) to Rapid was part of an agreed payment schedule, so not a "debt" in the sense of payment due. The schedule was kept and made now. I don't see the criticism of Green in there.

Pretty sure CG said "we have now paid all footballing debts".

Paid is paid. Cash has transferred hands, simplistically.

The above assertion that a payment schedule was created and thus not a "debt" doesnt hold water. If it isnt PAID it is still a debt, regardless of payment patterns.

I cant say I have paid off my mortgage just because I have an agreed 30 year payment schedule, can I ? No. So neither can Green hide behind that particular excuse.

BTW, I am NOT anti-Green - but he did say they were paid, so he has been bending the truth here.

Regardless, nice to see a little MORE money saved.

Fair comment, I guess my interpretation was that all debts that were due had been paid, and that others would continue on the schedule originally agreed. I saw the statement more as being "we're up to date with payments and all is as it should be"
