simplythebest 0 Posted February 20, 2013 Share Posted February 20, 2013 what i am saying is doing so did aj no favors. while aj was desperately trying to stop whyte buying us people were openly attacking aj and trying to paint him as some sort of thief who loved his club tie so much he would sabotage the club to keep it. does murray really need that kind of hassle. does anyone. AJ was never that clear, if anything I mainly picked up that he doubted Whyte would provide good enough transfer budgets. I think you're fudging the issue here mate. Credible sources said clearly and openly that Whyte was a c*&t, they were "disregarded off hand", is it just coincidence that Mediahouse played a major part in that then and are still in the "thick of it" today? Re being paid off and gagged... he has an option here unless it is written into his Chairman's contract. If he has a confidentiality clause (not guaranteed) then indeed he will be gagged. If not though, he has the option of NOT being paid off. From what I have read it seems he is a successful businessman so money may not be as necessary to him. So he could refuse a golden handshake in order to speak his mind about the inner workings of the Board (although he would need to be careful as there was a fiduciary duty whilst Chairman... but he could word his way round it). Rangers.co.uk are no longer hosting the prospectus pdf so I'm working from memory, Murray's contract has a six month notice period applying to both parties and iirc a confidentiality clause is present. Any shareholder can inspect the directors contracts at the registered place of business during normal office hours. He was sure not speaking about the next fortnight nor the next couple of years. So I for one would not (constantly) try to nail him down on that - some of which are sure solely meant to cheer up the audience and are clearly seen through by more seasoned investors and business-men. That said, maybe AIM hasn't "rapped his knuckles" for a reason? If MM stands down, who will be the next man in the middle though? NB: IMHO it is an unwise move by the homepage to remove ALL the administration statements and pdfs, as they a) belong to the history of the club and b) are official documents you can whip the mhedia with, should they start telling half-truths and lies again. Would Green not get around that by stating that these are targets of the club rather than confirmed numbers ? To have aims is one thing.... but how would AIM rap his knuckles if Charlie believes that 100 mill is obtainable ? Because he hasnt stated that these are forward-looking statements and not necessarily to be held as fact ?
