ian1964 10,565 Posted January 29, 2013 Share Posted January 29, 2013 Dundee United will unveil Partick Thistle manager Jackie McNamara as their replacement for Peter Houston on Wednesday. Houston, 54, announced two weeks ago that he would be leaving the Tannadice club at the end of the season. However, he brought forward his departure by leaving the Scottish Premier League club on Monday. McNamara, 39, has guided Thistle to second place in the Scottish First Division in his second season there. His role at Firhill was his first as a manager having finished his playing career in Glasgow's west end after a lengthy career with Dunfermline, Celtic, Wolves, Aberdeen and Falkirk.
