is that a vote for us to stay in the spl? or a "wee are too scared to vote" vote?

Technically, in a vote (according to my company General Counsel) an abstention is as good as a no vote. He also suggests it is actually a dereliction of duties to abstain

KILMARNOCK RAP SCARE STORIES

KILMARNOCK chairman Michael Johnston last night played down fears the club could close.

The Rugby Park outfit are set to face a winding-up order over a £16,000 debt owed to businessman Craig Stevenson.

But Johnston said: “We had an e-mail from solicitors late on Friday afternoon, which I’ll be responding to on Monday morning.

The club is not in danger of liquidation or administration or anything of that nature.

“It’s a relatively modest amount that he’s seeking, but there are various procedures we have to go through before we pay creditors.

“It’s unfortunate when people come out with these pronouncements in public rather than dealing with things in a business-like way.

“The club is not in danger of liquidation or administration or anything of that nature.”

If we are to achieve our rightful place as top dogs in Scotland then hopefully all the scumbags who tried to kill us off without success will still be in existence clamouring for our return.

That way, we can kick ass on the football field...then and only then.

As for Kilmarnock they didn't vote to kick us out for whatever reason...so good on them.

Rangers should give the DU money to help Kilmarnock, that would be a cracker.

IIRC some Celtic fans boycotted Rugby Park earlier in the season as a protest for Killie not voting Rangers out. They used the excuse that Kilmarnock did not give them the ticket allocation they wanted on the last game of the season last year when Celtic won the league unlike the previous year when they gave Rangers 3 stands. But on checking Celtic did get 3 of the 4 stands at Rugby park on that game with some ST holders even moving seats.
