GovanAllan 0
Well if he thought he was Billy Big Shoes when we were on top, I doubt he will fancy us today.
Zappa 0
I thought the lad looked like a cracking player when Walter gave him the opportunity and he filled in for Bougherra for pretty much half a season. I was slightly annoyed to see him leave, but the club thought they were getting good money for selling him and at the end of the day I really don't have an issue at all with him deciding to leave to go to an EPL club like Liverpool. You can say he made a mistake leaving, but the lad has Rangers & Liverpool on his CV, so I'm sure he won't be tearing his hair out. At the same time, it might have been better for his career if he'd either stayed with us or moved to a slightly smaller EPL side and gotten more games in the time since he left. Anyway, I'd be pleased if the club take him back, but I can't see it happening.
the gunslinger 3,366
as soon as the Liverpool bid came in we stopped talking to the lad. we were delighted he left.
Gribz 966
With hindsight I think he was another player Mentor Weir made look good thanks to the latters class and qualities. He left far too early and could have gained a lot more experience and then his time in England might not have been non-existant.
the gunslinger 3,366
I used to watch him at 16 bossing the u19 league. I still think he will do well in the game. very well infact. we would be perfect for him. 2 years playing every week then back in the SPL at 23 approaching 100 games.
craig 5,199
pacey? didnt his lack of pace cause his red card against st mirren(or am i thinking of someone else)? i didnt say i dont want him back i just said i thought he was over rated which he undoubtedly was. i dont know how you can say with any certainty that he is better than those two when you havnt seen him play for what, 3 years? or do you think they two are just that bad? I think he has more pace than either Perry or Cribari. Could be wrong though but he certainly looked faster than either of those 2 to me. Kuz, IMHO, Wilson's game will have to have deteriorated significantly for him to be worse now than either of our two incumbents. I still think that despite game time that Wilson is better than Perry and Cribari. Either way though, I think we are all arguing hypothetically, as I very much doubt he is coming back to us.
calscot 0
Surely this can't be true? I've been reading that it's only Rangers that make signings that don't work out... Liverpool must be a very badly run club with a shit manager.
