D'Artagnan 173
At present the only book which looks at the Rangers crisis over the last 12 months has been written by someone with a particular hatred of our club. Is there a need for a book which seeks to look at the whole debacle from the perspective of the Rangers support ? I ask because a number of bears have suggested I address this imbalance.
aweebluesoandso 290
We need the truth about what happened to our club, better coming from our side as there's.
Bluedell 5,928
I think that it would be good for a definitive objective account of it to be written. However I'm not sure that it can be done yet. There is still some issues that requires clarification, eg D&P's role, and I'd reckon that much will come out in the fullness of time. I also believe that it would not be a great seller at the moment. It's too recent in the memory for most bears and is still painful. Perhaps in a few years.
D'Artagnan 173
I agree with some of the points raised - there is a distinct lack of clarity surrounding events - some we will sadly never know. I was thinking something more around a timeline of events we do know and how it felt from a Rangers supporter's perspective.
calscot 0
Maybe Robert Duval can do a film... They are more powerful in the mainstream than factual books that are a bit dull by nature as they lack a good narrative. DUDE 0
I think there is a need. But writing about it now would be, as some of the lads at Rangers Standard put it, like writing about WWII in 1941.
