Nonsense. If the offensive words were being sung by people at the game then the dirty work is being done by our own, not the enemy. And by that I mean those singing it, not those outing them. Or maybe you think that it is OK for us to just bury our head in the sand, state that it wasnt being sung (when it was), get the ban lifted... and then go back into the same vicious circle of the song being sung, getting banned, clun being fined etc etc. Because if it is still being sung when the song is banned.... then what do you honestly think will happen if the ban was ever lifted ? Which is fair enough. But when a particular song is banned then you have to tackle that from a position of strength, and mindless defiance isnt that position of strength. Unless of course you want the club fined again, or worse. We need to be smart in how we tackle it, and the mindless defiance, followed by blinded denial, isnt the right tactic IMO. Really ?
