Union Bears statement

Recommended Posts

In general that is true with ordinary horses, but police horses should not get spooked by a drum they are trained to operate under riot situations without getting spooked

It's a horse FFS! There's only so much you can train a pet to do. If a horse decides to go ape shit then so be it. The cop on the horse can do nothing. That's like saying a soldier shouldn't be shot because they've received special training.

If only the horse had powers of arrest.

anyone banging a drum next to a horse should be arrested for his own safety and then locked in a padded cell.

its a shame the police can't take a step back and let people support their team.

I agree with both points here. Well saying its Christmas :fish:

That's bullshit and you know it a police horse is a highly trained animal that can take a drum banging right in front of it. In fact it's so highly trained a little woman police officer up on one that night could control it to charge along the back of the Broomloan Stand side swiping fans who couldn't get out of the way quick enough and that included wee weans.

From my experience of the police at Ibrox they act like a big gang and throw their weight around to intimidate the fans when they should be reminded that their first duty is the safety of the fans not trying to lift as many as they can.

When a horse decides to go ape shit the police officer cannot control it. That's coming from a cop who's in the mounted branch. They'd know better than you and I so it's not bullshit.

Bang a drum in a surgeon's ear and it doesn't matter how highly trained he/she is or how steady his/her hand is, shit is getting messed up.

The only complaint I have of police horses is that they dont pick their shite up.

Again mate rubbish they are trained to not spook from a lot more noise than a bloody drum their main job is crowd control do you think a mass protest just walks by at a whisper.

As for the shit bring a bucket it's great for the roses and the veg patch. :)
