D'Artagnan 173
Sentiments of the article are spot on. No Rangers would disagree on your main point. However, it needs balance; two other forums have a tendency to do the opposite of FF and reading RM/VB, I could have easily written that article and replaced FF with RM, for example. I agree with the message but sadly it lacks any balance. The thread I'm referring to was on Follow Follow, had it been on Gers Net, RM or VB I would have alluded to that.
D'Artagnan 173
I don't see why we should reject the idea of Trust status or fan ownership just because of a few internet blethers? The viability of fan ownership should surely be judged on comparable cases in the real football club world ? Why would the Rangers be an exception from carpet-baggers and assset strippers? Or were the likes of Murray and Whyte actually good for the Rangers? Are we assured that future generations will not face any problems from continuing the one-man business model ? Bear Able, It's not just a few internet blethers. There are reasonable Rangers Supporters out there who view the RST with considerable suspicion. Some of the people involved at the time of the Trust's darkest hour are still at the helm of the organisation and that does not inspire confidence. As someone who joined the Trust at the inaugural meeting it gives me no pleasure to say this but its a fact.
bossy 0
How predictable. A thread on 'unity' becomes and attack on the RST.
chilledbear 16
How predictable. A thread on 'unity' becomes and attack on the RST. As an outsider, who knows none of the individuals involved in the RST past or present. It seems pretty obvious that rather an attack on the RST, as usual it is one person who draws the bile. Perhaps for the good of the Trust, and in the long run the Club, the individual should look at his position in the Organisation. Just an observation from a [st]ranger.

Kenzie1 0
It was going to be my swansong Zappa..but events have overtaken themselves. For reasons best known to themselves I have been banned from the Follow Follow Website as a consequence of this article. Hell hath no fury than a writer silenced... So FF has its uses after all. You would be a sorely missed.
Kenzie1 0
We live in dark times D'Art. I've always thought of you as one of the best writers in the Rangers online community, so it's sad to hear that you would be banned from anywhere for writing an article. Very sad indeed. Didn't Hitler once go down this road?
D'Artagnan 173
why not mention the disgusting thread on rm that was talked about on ff? for balance like. Gunslinger you have read my stuff for some time (Im assuming you are one in the same GS who was on RM & FF) - so you will know that I scolded some RM posters for personal vitriol towards Mark Dingwall on that site, which was posted with no substance. I'm not going to lower myself into a tit for tat verbal battle between websites - the thread which saw the Rangers support tear itself apart was on Follow Follow - that is why it was mentioned in my article. I have re-read that article several times since writing it, and asked others to do so. At no time does it belittle the Follow Follow website, it merely asks that those various warring factions who particpated within the thread consider, whether by such conduct, they are putting Rangers First.
