Leggat - TAX MOLE AND RANGERS TAX CASE BLOGGER TO BE UNMASKED AS WRITS FLY

Recommended Posts

THE person behind the insidious and evil anti- Rangers, Rangers Tax Case blog, could now be a mere few footsteps away from standing in the dock at the High Court.

That is to say, if the person who writes the Rangers Tax Case blog and the person who has been leaking highly confidential information from HMRC, are one and the same.

If, however, they are different, then the blogger will be home free, having broken no laws, leaving his mole as the patsy who will face the music.

For whoever it is who works for HMRC and who has been passing on highly confidential information about the corporate tax affairs of a Scottish company, they will be in serious trouble.

David Murray has already hinted that he wants a full probe into how Rangers tax affairs, matters which should have been confidential between Rangers and HMRC, were maliciously leaked to a blogger whose work continues to display a clear hatred of all things Rangers.

I now believe that the furious Murray has already set the wheels in motion, which will eventually lead to the unmasking of the so far anonymous blogger and also reveal the trail which will lead to the HMRC mole who has broken the law of the land.

And there can be no public interest defence from the HMRC mole and no plea in mitigation of whistle blowing morality for the greater good, no cry of, in the public interest, from the person deep inside HMRC.

Actually it is in HMRCâ??s interest as well as that of former Rangers owner Murrayâ??s that the person who has been leaking the information is caught and then subjected to the full weight and majesty of Scots Law.

Just as it is the interests of all who support Rangers to see the man behind the pernicious Rangers Tax Case blog unmasked and his (paid?) informant frogmarched off to the Bar-L.

And there is nobody better placed, nobody more highly motivated and nobody with more money at his disposal to make that all happen than former Rangers owner, David Murray.

Though I do not believe even that will be enough to satisfy David Murray. I reckon he will exercise his own form of retribution on those who have blackened his name, blackened the Rangers name and poisoned the well so successfully when Murray was trying to sell Rangers.

And I have equally no doubt that the form of that retribution will be through the Court of Session, with writs for defamation flying around and Murray insistent on stripping the HMRC squealer and the Rangers Tax Case blogger of their assets. For starters!

There will also be a raft of writs aimed at those who Murray believes guilty of defamation.

Do you think that thought flashed across Odious Creepâ??s mind when he appeared on STVâ??s Scotland Tonight and was skewered by the sharp Chris Graham from the excellent Rangers Standard, who reminded him of what he had published about Rangers and the EBTs?

Creep was less than convincing in his denials. Methinks he doth protest too much.

The screen grab shots of him which were doing the rounds yesterday showed a seriously worried looking Odious Creep to be a man out of his time, out of his depth and up to his neck in trouble. According to a number of senior press pack pals who contacted me yesterday to cackle their delight at his discomfort, Odious Creep looked crestfallen, bewildered and maybe even a wee bit numb. I agree with all of that. But there was something else he looked during those many moments when the STV cameras lingered on him.

He looked shifty!

It would be nice to think that whatever cash pours into David Murrayâ??s bank â?? will it still be Lloyds? â?? will all be forwarded to Rangers as a gesture of goodwill.

Especially if some of that money comes from the proceeds of the sale of a certain farmhouse in Ayrshire, if it has to be flogged by its owner to meet the costs of any expensive defamation action.

Ouch!

A mere blogger attacking a fellow blogger amongst others. Whilst Leggo is undoubtedly one of us, he is full of shit. But even a broken watch is correct twice a day so you never know.

So David Leggat, the man who a week and a half before Rangers FC went into admin wrote the most cringeworthy Craig Whyte article ever (not only did he suck the Whyte boaby, he swallowed the lot) may one day get a result.

a number of senior press pack pals is one of his favourite lines though.
