Darthter 542
That said, we had to agree to them on the back of administration, demotion, and all that. In essence, we were blackmailed into accepting the embargo or would not be playing football. One hopes this will be taken up soon too. but none of it is connected to the BTC. The BTC decision should only have a bearing on the SPL EBT investigation, nothing else. Administration was directly caused by not paying PAYE/NI, not because of HMRC's investigation. forlanssister 3,132
It's crystal clear Spiers has absolutely no idea what the "wee tax case" relates to or when the assessment was made how the f*&k he can use the "wee tax case" to defend his previous utterings is simply bizarre.
the gunslinger 3,366
agreed. we had agreed to pay it before spiers ever knew about it. mutterings about whytes time are moronic we won f all. and that's only some of why he's miles of the mark.

Technically yes, but all that has happened stems from the failure of getting the result of the BTC sooner.
calscot 0
The BTC has cost the tax payer over £30m. You could build a hospital for that... I can't see how Rangers could cheat with the STC as we offered to pay. It's HMRC's actions which meant instead of payment, we gave £30m of players to world football for free. We've paid our debt in that sense whether our detractors like it or not.

rbr 1,278
Graham Spiers told an even more blatant lie , attempting to cover up the first whopper about " cheating " , he stated he was always talking in regards to the little tax case , now considering some of his tweets were dated in January and the little tax case never first appeared until May , how the hell would he have known about it . This was when the £2.8 million liability first came out and when SDM dropped his price to £1 to allow the deal to go through
Steve1872 4
Chris Graham@ChrisGraham76 The moral compass of Scotland is being set again. Lying on live TV is apparently fine. Minimising the tax you pay is morally wrong
EDGE 0
As soon as Murray sold the company behind the club to the Shyster, we were fucked.
