Official Rangers Site - Pre Match Interview by Ally McCoist - A charge of $1.50

Was just on the RFC Official Site and clicked on the Pre-match Interview by Ally and was shocked to see that I was required to pay $1.50 app. to see it.

 

 

Since when have we had to pay to see/hear a pre-match interview?

 

Seems just too much to me, much as I love Rangers.

I paid £10 to watch Ally putting the rest to the sword and loved every minute of it. If you google 'question of sport' you'll see him for nowt mate.

I pay for the Rangers games on Rangers TV each week and am glad to do so even though I could see them for nothing on another website, but to pay now for a prematch interview that was always free and usually on the BBC website too that is a bit much (and also to pay for Lee Wallace's comments?) in my opinion.

Cant blame the club for trying a cash grab. If you think about it.... if even just one person pays for it then the club get $1.50 more than they were previously.

 

As always, it is your prerogative to purchase the interview or not - the club will be aware that people will have other options to see the same interview. But with just a little bit of web design, sticking a payment gateway on the site they have another potential income stream.

 

It may seem galling to many of us, but in my opinion, it is astute from Charles Green. Nobody is forced to pay it.

The market's there for it, so that's why they've done it. Some people pay to text competition entries, text votes for TV shows or to buy a shite tune or app.
