New Youngster In The Squad

Recommended Posts

I see Tom Walsh has been added to the first team squad for tomorrow. Good luck to the lad.

Elfideldo has posted this on Follow Follow.

This is what I said about Tom at the start of LAST season

"Another likely Rangers representative in this yearâ??s Victory Shield. Midfield is the strongest part of this squad and Tom would be a first pick. Skillful, creative and although not the biggest is sure to play for the 17′s this season."

This season he has progressed at a rapid rate and has also developed physically, he looks a class act.

Never heard of him but great news

He's officially one of our U17 players and he's been getting call ups for the Scotland U17s as well, but he's also been getting games for our U20 and reserve teams this season. Looks like a really good player from what I've seen.

Btw, I don't know if there was a thread (outwith elfideldo's) about it that I missed or something, but we signed a young striker called Travis Gregory from the Greater Manchester Football Academy a few weeks ago. He had been up on trial (more than once) and impressed enough to get a full-time contract.

Is he the guy in Willie Vass' training pictures today?
