Arguments At Half-Time Yesterday

Recommended Posts

LEE McCULLOCH revealed last night that Rangers players faced off in a series of bust-ups at half time yesterday â?? and he reckons it did them good.

Now he hopes he can capture some of that passion â?? because it could be the inspiration for success this season.

The 34-year-old hit a double to take his tally to 13 goals for the season and help his side to the top of the table.

But the mood was far different in the dressing-room at half time yesterday after Gers had failed to make an impact on Queenâ??s Park in 45 minutes.

Jig said: â??There was a bit of eyeballing. The guys were disappointed and at half-time there are four or five different arguments. We are all getting uptight.

â??It just shows there are a lot of winners at the club. A score of 0-0 at half time is annoying the players and they expect more from each other.

â??That showed by the way we played in the second half. Itâ??s a healthy thing if boys are arguing, as long as itâ??s not getting ridiculous, which it isnâ??t. It just shows a will to win. And itâ??s good to see the young boys getting involved as well.

â??They are not scared to speak up to the experienced guys.â?

The former Scotland striker was delighted with his double and said: â??Thatâ??s 13 now for the season and Iâ??m delighted â?? but Iâ??m not going to get carried away.

â??It was all about getting three points. Defeat by Stirling last time wasnâ??t good enough and we had to bounce back.

â??I donâ??t see myself as prolific. Iâ??m not a Kris Boyd or an Ally McCoist. But Iâ??m getting among the goals now and hope it continues as long as possible. And Iâ??m loving being captain.â?

McCulloch wants more of the same against Clyde next week and heaped praise on the Ibrox kids.

He said: â??The confidence the young boys are showing is amazing. We are inexperienced as a team and thatâ??s why we are giving away chances at times but itâ??s a great learning curve.

â??Now weâ??re top of the league we can push on. Our away form has not been good enough but if we treat Clyde like a cup final and get a positive result we can kick on from there.â?

well done ally. now you have our players fighting amongst themselves. they are sick of the negative tactics and having to play with players out of position who are managers favourites and or clearly not good enough.
