Ally in track suit

Recommended Posts

Like Gribz says, as long as he wears a suit before and after the game then I don't see what the problem is.

I don't get this. If you don't care what he's wearing during a game then why do you care what he wears before and after? Surely there's either a dress code or there isn't?

Getting off the team bus before the game, doing interviews, getting back on the team bus etc. The game of football is a sport and as such wearing a tracksuit is part of the game.

Not if you're not playing. If a tracksuit is part of the game then how have previous managers got on without wearing one?

Because they've chosen to wear a suit. McCoist has chosen to wear a tracksuit. No big deal! People are getting their knickers in a twist over nothing.

Each to their own though.

How???

Trackies are the most suitable attire for the task. Does wearing a suit make the team play any better??? Does it make the crowd sing louder??? Does it REALLY make others look at the club differently???

If wearing joggies etc makes Ally get the most out of his team, then bring it on!!!

are you seriously asking in what way training is different from match days? seriously? :-/ anyone over 10 should now the difference.

trackies are most suitable for standing arms folded, face puzzled on the touchline representing one of the worlds greatest clubs? again, seriously? it has nothing to do with the team playing better, its about respect, stature, self respect. it has nothing to do with how loud the crowd sing, its about representing those thousands of fans and making an effort with your appearance. and to the last silly question, yes, yes it does. look at the abuse tlb gets for wearing his tracky from rival fans. of course it matters. we have standards to keep, we have an appearance to keep up. we are what everyone wants to be.

regardless of matter what he wears, he proves on a weekly basis he cannot get the most out of the players anyway.

i dont expect you to get it. the whole suit thing, appearance, standards, expectations, none of it. no offense. it is quite sad what has now become acceptable to some.
