Anyway, 92m would suggest that they are even more "useless". Net debt 114m, TV money 54m as opposed 21m from gate receipts et al. ManU get "only" twice as much in TV money, the latter nearly equalling gate receipts. You would assume that business-wise, Sky et al should not throw money at clubs who give next to no return and haven't done in years (Wolves, Villa, WBA, Birmingham ... ), not to mention the parachute cash they get for relegation! That would depend on your definition of useless and what you are benchmarking them against.
