Bluedell 6,059
There's another Wolverhampton song that used to get sung on our bus, but I now can't remember it. Anyone know what it might be?
amms 0
In the beer label (that's a great marketing idea) why are we wearing a white top, surely blue doesn't clash with Old Gold?

Black & White TV two dark colours would look much the same. Just an idea.
Scott7 6,660
Note the red and white bands on the shirts for those who say red onthe Rangers' shirts is a new fashion.

It's a belter of a shirt. Apparantly you can buy a replica of it via this site: http://www.historicalkits.co.uk/Scottish_Football_League/Rangers/Rangers-change-kits.html It's a great wee site for reference actually - a trip down memory lane.
GovanAllan 0
78 Red top was my first Rangers strip. Have to say as well we've had some honking away tops. Edited October 2, 2012 by GovanAllan

Red on the away strip is fine with me. That 61 strip is a belter but I personally hate red anywhere our home top. I think that should remain all light royal blue or the said blue with white detailing Great article BTW. Love the colour pic of the game.

I know it's not that traditional but always thought it looked superb.

I never really understood it's introduction in 78?
bluebear54 0
Brilliant Steve I've researched it a bit before to settle misunderstandings on the bus. But this is a cracking piece of research. What a team we had through the sixties. Great work. Thanks.
