That's an interesting way of looking at at it, SB, although in terms of the limited poll results so far, no one is in favour of that system.

Also you'll be fine so long as you CAN sell your ticket on, which is doubtful for places like Broadwood or Hampden for example and in any event may not be very convenient. AND it will work until the Club decide to do what they do for European games - only distribute the tickets at the location of the match

I'm actually fairly lucky in that i've sat behind a guy for years at Ibrox in a supporters club and they always seem to welcome tickets, any that I couldn't use through the away game allocations he was always happy to take them off my hands for his club if not for himself.

I'd heard about that location thing for the travel club, speaking of which wonder if they'll be saving up all those points for when we eventually do get back into Europe.

Better be; I've only missed one in the last 7 years including Malmo where we weren't supposed to be!

I certainly f*&king hope not!

Can't agree with you on that FS, past history must stand even if it is 2/3 years ago. In fact I have long argued that 2 years past plus current season isn't much of a history at all especially if there was only one game in one of the years. To me it should be at least 3 years past history plus current season; however we won't need to worry about that for another two years at least!

I have to confess if it comes down to previous purchases i'd certainly consider trying to buy tickets as often as possible and sell them on to other bears if I can't go or don't want to (for the face value of course).

I know that's playing the system but my (life) Wife just doesn't really allow me to be going to every away match, but I'd hope it can in the future. Being a season ticket holder i'm still contributing a fair bit i'd like to think.

I think you had a typo.;)

Apparently Supporters Clubs as a whole still get 30% of the allocation and the number each club gets depends on the size of its membership. They are graded from A+ to somehting like N; those who run clubs will know the full picture. Astonishingly up at Forres there was at least one guy with a handful of tickets on the main street (only street) around 12.30pm.

Didn't see you there BD!

30% to supporters clubs seems fair enough to me.

I haven't gone to away games for the last 3 seasons, BH. My son's chosen activity, which he plays to a fairly high standard, tends to take up whole weekends on occasions and it means that I find that I can't make many away games, although I do still manage to fit in most home games.

Not a great sample to judge anything on when there's only 56 votes on the main site poll and 13 votes on here.

I would suggest for future polls that you keep it short and sweet instead of writing an extensive explanation and background history. After all, the point of a poll is to gather information, not give it out....
