This was the SCF of 1971, Lennox put them 1-0 ahead in the 1st half, Big Derek (who had already won us the league cup that season) came on for Penman with 20 minutes to go and scored the equaliser with 3 minutes left. Rangers end went mental. Edited July 30, 2015 by Bearman

Rangers end went mental. I was sure it was McKinnon but got put off by the Rangers website team I really thought it was wee Tommy although Henderson crossed my mind. I would have guessed all night and not come up with penman. The only thing I can remember about Penman was he sent a pass along the goal-line to Wullie Johnston who was standing alone in the middle of the goal set to tap it in. He took his eye off the ball and let it run under his foot. It was against Celtic I am sure. I didn't realise DJ was there at that time already although I remember his début at 16.
Bearman 9
I didn't realise DJ was there at that time already although I remember his début at 16. Yeah it's him...17 by that time. If you watch the video again (it's all mixed up) you'll see DJ celebrating his goal at 17:24, you'll also notice the celebrating mass of Rangers fans in the North Stand extending into more than what is allocated today, and no police to keep the fans apart, can you imagine that ever happening again? Never.
