German on Rangers radar as two get set to walk

Recommended Posts

It is a formality that oldco is still "in administration". Liquidators have already been appointed, although it hasnt been passed from the administrators to the liquidators.

It is, in my humble opinion, arguing semantics.

If you let them go with "semantics" like these, they will go on with stuff like this. This in turn gets reported world-wide and only in last week's Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (i.e. essentially the German version of the New York Times), a reporter calmy told us that the British administration law "is funny", Rangers were wound-up, founded anew and sent due to their Euro 170m debts into the 4 tier of Scottish football. I for one will fight these kind of semantics whenever I encounter them.

I still see it as semantics. McLaughlin makes up far worse lies and propaganda than this.

Oldco WILL be liquidated. It is timing only that alters their statement.

some of the other stuff is worthy of our attention though.

All about opinions I guess - but you pointing it in here isnt really doing anything about what you see to be "false reporting" - better to take it to the BBC yourself and point out the failings.
