pete 2,499
Do you mean that certain words are made into a link? I had that and it comes by downloading certain codecs. If you have downloaded a Codec package recently it may come from that.

Frankie 8,562
Unfortunately, it's nothing to do with the way this site is run. You could try downloading some sort of ad-blocker plugin depending on your browser. Or use another browser!
54andcounting 0
Nothing to do with the above but..... has anybody been having problems getting on gersnet recently? Sometimes when I click on the next page of a thread I get an error message which suggests I should click the refresh button. Could be my laptop, just wondering. Frankie 8,562
Not had any issues at all in that sense mate. We upgraded our hosting package the other month and everything seems to be running much better. Touch wood!

blueflag 386
gisabeer,, run malwarebytes, that sounds like a popular adware. 54andcounting, do the same then use ccleaner to clean up your pc files a bit and hopefully help a bit. @frankie, yeh man, site working well for last wee bit, keep up good work
54andcounting 0
Ta blueflag - good tip about 'malwarebytes' I have that adware and run it regularly. I've been trying different things this morning - rebooted my router and so far so good - fingers crossed.
