Even if we knew the exact terms and conditions of the clauses a few players had and the news wasn't good on what fees could have been achieved, the players could have waivered the release clauses if they had decided to stay and if we had been allowed to transfer our SPL share (which we really should have been allowed to do had there not been an agenda against us), then any valuable player who had stayed would have been worth pretty much his full market value once the dust had settled at Ibrox.
