It was at that moment I realised I didn't know any of the SPL scores from the weekend, I also realised I didn't care either. More worryingly I thought the Hearts top looked okay (made by Adidas too!), even more worrying Hibs have got a darker, sort of British Racing green shade thing going on this season and it's not repulsive. No really, don't ban me, it's not. I mean it's still Hibs with the silly sleeves and the shit players but the shade of green is, well, different. Aberdeen have white shorts for some reason, they look like a works team who got a deal on non-matching strips, it's pathetic. I should take this to the Ashley thread, shouldn't I. Amms. I'm with you. I didn't know Celtic where playing Ross County at the weekend never mind losing until the 95th minute until yesterday afternoon. Haven't seen the hibbees but dark green is fine. Saw the tims by accident on the News. Hoops looked a bit retro. Was Bobby Evans playing for them again? More bizarrely, Aberdeens strip up until 1939 was yellow and black stripes with white shorts. With regards the Celtic retro strip, I think it is meant to commemorate them being in business for 125 years? Mmmm...considering they didn't start wearing their hoops until 1903, I think they are out by about 16 years on this "tribute".... Their first strip was white (for a year) but after that the wore green and white stripes as opposed to hoops. I think there is also a story that their hoops jersey were old Hibs strips (Hibs wore hoops for a while). Not sure about the truth in that? Could be true though as they half inched most of their players as well and bascially ran Hibs into the ground before they returned a year later...
