SSE Cup: Hamilton 3-1 Rangers (AET)

RANGERS were eliminated from the SSE Scottish Cup after falling to an extra time defeat against Hamilton Academical.

The Light Blues enjoyed the majority of the possession throughout the game and looked to have done enough to progress when Hayley Sinclair scored in the 84th minute. However, Hamilton struck back quick to send the game into extra time with Gillian Inglis completed her hat-trick with two goals in the additional period to secure victory for the hosts.

More on that here: https://rangers.co.uk/news/women/sse-cup-hamilton-3-1-rangers-aet/

And seemingly some restructure to th women setup too:

Clear Commitment To RWFC

AMY MCDONALD believes her appointment in a full-time role at Rangers underlines the club’s commitment to the Women’s and Girls’ programmes.

The first-team manager of Rangers Women has now been given the job of Women’s and Girls’ Academy Manager meaning she will head up the Gers programme from top to bottom.

Jen King has also arrived to assist McDonald in her duties, taking charge of the Girls’ Academy on a day to day basis.

WHY has the tread become un-sticky? We're half-way in a season?

Rangers WFC Announce Double Signing

RANGERS are delighted to announce the double signing of Gill Inglis and Nic Pullar.

The two officially put pen to paper this week and will be available to Rangers as the team look to finish strong in the second half of the SWPL season.

Inglis, a defender, joins Rangers’ after seven years at Hamilton Academical. The 28-year-old will add some much needed depth and experience to what is a very young squad.

...

Pullar joins from rivals Celtic and is a striker with a real eye for goal. In Pullar’s Celtic debut, she scored two goals as Celtic ran out 3-0 winners in the opening game of the season against Rangers. She will now be looking to utilise her goalscoring threat in a blue jersey.
