Match Preview Writers (including schedule)

Since I did not know whom to write about this, I just place it in here and hope those in power do the rest. Saturday the curtain will fall on the Rangers u15 girls' season with an appearance in the Henson Cup Final against the u15s of Celtic. To give it all some broader attention and possible a few dozens if not hundreds supporters watching, here's a small article I whipped up for Gersnet ...

The Road to Toryglen - an "Old Firm" Henson Cup Final preview

The quite successful season of the Rangers Girls u15s draws to a close this Saturday, when the Henson Youth Cup Final is on the agenda. After seeing off the Deeside Girls (9-0), Spartans (10-2), Dundee United Sports Club (Quarter Final, 7-0) and finally Letham Girls (Semi Final, 3-1), the stage is set for an "Old Firm" final at the Toryglen Football Center, not that far away from old Third Lanark's Cathkin Park, and Hampden, of course.

The girls have been in fine form this season, keeping a 100% record throughout the 20-game run towards the championship title, scoring a staggering 134 goals, conceeding just 10. Ties against Celtic have been comfortable, with our u15s beating Celtic in March 6-1 at home, while the return leg in September ended 4-1 on our soil. But cup games always tend to be different, so the u15s know that everything is required to make it a fine 2012 Double.

The "Youth Football Scotland" website keeps you up to date with the events, both of previous rounds as well as upcoming games, with one reporter (twitter-mobile at the ready) sure bearing witness to the game.

Peter Kennedy is bound to keep to his line-up of recent weeks, with the Rangers team of the day coming from this squad:

1. Murren Stevenson, 2. Sarah Clelland, 3. Rachel Ross, 4. Niamh Johnson, 5. Heather Magill, 6. Claire Adams, 7. Dana Baird, 8. Erin Cuthbert, 9. Megan Mason, 10. Sarah Robertson, 11. Chantelle Brown, 12. Alex Middleton, 13. Amy Hiddletson, 14. Shannon McNichol, 15. Megan Felgate, 16. Mairi McIver, 17. Paige Frame, 21. Lauren Wilkes

The stage is set, the orchestra ordered, now let's see whether the Bearettes can sing again:

Zappa or Frankie will need to help you their dB. I think it deserves to get on News Now if it hasn't appeared there already.

Next time you write a preview for a Rangers Ladies or Girls game just post it in a new thread in Rangers Chat and PM either Frankie or myself if you'd like to see it get published. Simples. :)

simplythebest, I said I'd put you down for a game in December, so I've put you down for the first one which is the Scottish Cup tie, but if that's not suitable and you'd prefer to do another game just say so. :tu:
