amms 0
Alloa got a 7 million wage bill have they Ally? Terrible comment. C'mon, Ally can hardly sit in a public press conference and be anything other than respectful to our opponents. If he said publicly that we've much better players and we should hump them then he's done Alloa's team talk for them. Bland platitudes are all part of being a manager, particularly at press conferences. There are grounds to criticise McCoist but that's one-eyed in the extreme. You can easily get around that by talking about how it'll be a tough game that we'll need to be at our best for, Hartley has done a great job etc. No need at all to talk like the clubs are at the same level, we may be a division below them right this second but our structure and ambitions are clearly miles ahead of theirs. calscot 0
Did Ceptic win those games???the 2nd set of figures shown have both teams level on games played, so it was after they can played their games in hand, the the 19 point swing still stands!!! It stands if you're out to do a hatchet job and want to exaggerate your claims. Not if you're trying to fairly assess the situation. There's nothing McCoist can do about Celtic's games in hand. If they win them, then the gap was never really there in the first place. Yeah, let's sack Ally because of another team's results even though he has no influence on them. Brilliant argument! But it's all psychology, say nice things about their set-up, complement the opposition, talk them up, that's what managers the world over do. It's very harsh to criticise McCoist for that. In actual fact Alloa have a very good set-up, they are a model club in many ways. Their structure is impressive but I agree our ambitions are very different. Fair enough way to look at, suppose I'm seeing it the more cynical way in that he's already getting excuses for a defeat in.
kuznetsov 0
He is turning into an absolute joke when it comes to his press releases. correct. every one of his recent press conferences have been embarassing. he should not be allowed to speak to the media. in fact having heard kenny and ian talking too. none of them are any good to speak on our behalf. no wonder the players dont want to play for them. our players must take to the field scared of the opposition no matter who we play. i am honestly sick of hearing him talk. I haven't seen 1 comment on this argument as you call it, where anyone has said this? The Ally Bashers want rid of him because of OUR results. pete 2,511
another mental comparison from you pete. someone needs to pay for the defence. why anyone would defend someone so "guilty" for free? That is probably the Problem with Ally. He doesn't have a defence.
