A request for yet another punishment?

Nah, a feeble attempt to highlight that we are out of the SPL; in other words, this is little league stuff and doesn't concern us. Like the SPL is the big time! Even when we were winning it we knew it was pish.

SFA beaks are ready to throw the book at Charles Green over his SPL bigot blast.

The Rangers chief claimed that bigotry was behind the decision to kick the Ibrox club out of the top flight.

It’s understood Hampden beaks are furious at Green’s outburst. And he will be ordered to appear before them just days after Gers are formally granted their licence by the governing body.

SFA compliance officer Vincent Lunny has written to Green demanding an explanation for his explosive claim.

He’s given the outspoken Yorkshireman until August 7 to respond with evidence to back up his accusations.

The Light Blues were given the temporary go-ahead late on Friday night which allowed them to kick off their season at Brechin.

Green, however, landed himself in hot water before the Glebe Park tie had even started when he launched into a savage blast at those SPL chairmen who opted to banish Rangers.

He was later caught applauding as 2,500 visiting fans chanted ‘If you hate Stewart Regan clap your hands’ in a show of resentment towards the SFA chief.
