nokiss 0
Not for me, even for free. In saying that, if he can put a few pound in the auld coffers by selling a few shirts, he might be worth a short term punt.

nokiss 0
he not zidane or gazza ffs, sell shirts lol You'd be amazed at the amount of Gers fans that would love to have Savage on the back of their shirts. If he was to come to us and play for free, he would be considered a hero, by many. Edited July 25, 2012 by nokiss
Zappa 0
Our shirt money goes to JJB anyway except for a small percentage, so even if Charles Green brought in Messi or Ronaldo (no laughing at the back please) we wouldn't make that much money from shirt sales.
bigy 0
If nothing else, Savage alone would generate more interest down south in the Scottish 3rd division than the entire SPL will get in the next 10 years.
andy steel 0
That is true...yet it kinda sticks in the craw to see the team and the league treated as a media carnival in order to generate some wonga. Can see both sides but I'd come down in the 'piss off taff' camp.
metlika 0
I don't get it Seems a publicity stunt. He said he would never return to football once retired on the pitch/coaching, obviously he does punditry. Also his friendship with Lennon means no thanks and he has happily slated us as well, also 1 year without playing especially for a guy his age even if he says he is fit.
Zappa 0
also 1 year without playing especially for a guy his age even if he says he is fit. Good point. He said he's as fit as he was before he retired, but that doesn't mean he's actually in good shape!
BrahimHemdani 1
It's too late, Lennon got to him first, thank goodness.
