I'd need to read back over it to confirm that and don't have their proposal at hand right now mate.

Since we both seem to be agreeing about the CVA though, if it wasn't newco, what was their plan B?

the had no plan b. certainly not a public one.

it was cva or nothing. perhaps that alone would have persuaded hmrc.

Sorry to butt in on you and UCF, but I don't believe for one minute that Kennedy & TBKs had no plan B. When Kennedy officially got together with TBKs he did lengthy interviews and if you remember correctly, there was an article in the Record (which you posted screenshots of) where Kennedy essentially said that they wouldn't be ruling out the newco option. IIRC, he actually intimated that Bill Miller's plan was unpopular, but with more backing from the fans, he and TBKs couldn't rule out taking a similar route if a CVA wasn't accepted. He was saying that a CVA would be the priority as that's what we all wanted, but that a newco plan would indeed be an option if necessary.

I've checked my photos Kennedy is saying Miller's bid will kill the club in them. I have no recollection of him ever saying he was interested in a newco.

indeed I recall him saying a newco didn't work. I also remember him saying d&p had essentially begged him for a newco even visiting his house and he had told them where to go.

I've never watched his last interview in sky with p Murray so perhaps he said it then.

Every Rangers fans has the right to ask questions and demand answers, given what's happened to the club over the last year.

I don't give a shit who owns us, just that whoever does, goes about it honestly.

If they make some cash, then good on them, but let's try and stop the "what owner" I support arguments. It really is very boring, and you can cut and quote all you like, just get a grip and support the team, no matter who is the owner.

I do recall Kennedy mentioning a newco option, but the point wasn't laboured in any way....I kinda got the impression that he didn't want to mention it too much in case the fans turned against him - at that stage a newco was more of a no-go!!!

Yep, it was immediately after Kennedy teamed up with Paul Murray's Blue Knights and while Paul Murray had been dead set against a newco option saying it was CVA or nothing, Kennedy wasn't initially on the same page because obviously it wouldn't make sense to not have a plan B. TBH, I think the "CVA or nothing" talk from Paul Murray was just that, all talk. You could have bet your mortgage that if Paul Murray & TBKs had been made preferred bidders and tried to get a CVA, they would also have had a newco route as their plan B.

This whle Green bad ,Kennedy good attitude is pissing me off big time , repeatedly Kennedy has attempted derisory bids that have next to no chance of succeeding. His offer to Duff and Phelps was the most pathetic thing I have read in a long time , to include European revenue and transfer money whilst only putting in just over £1 million of new money was just laughable , yet here he goes again but this time offering £5.6 million for 51% aand most importantly the controlling share , get real .

as I say he said several times he had no interest in a newco. he may have changed his tune later but not that I ever saw.

so what was he going to do once the cva was voted down then , nothing , walk away , pathetic behaviour

I'm not surprised you didn't like it. you clearly didn't read or understand it.
