Official: Kennedy bids £5.6m for 51% of the club

The administration process not being done exactly as instructed by the courts would be illegal.

yes it would. but asking for best bids then telling green to beat it by a few quid and signing an irrevocable agreement with him would be just about enough to keep you out of jail.

it would also seem that asking bk for 1 million for exclusivity then giving it to green for 200k is also legal.

Statement From Brian Kennedy

I have recently had several confidential meetings with a gentleman representing the shareholders of Sevco, with regards to my interest in purchasing a majority shareholding in Rangers Football Club.

The details of these meetings and the written offer I have submitted have been disclosed from within the club.

Now that this has leaked I have I have no alternative but to confirm that what is reported in the Daily Record regarding such matters is accurate.

I have no further comment to make at this time

more than that they are clearly pushing the sale by leaking this.

While I agree Green will most probably be after a sale I did laugh when I read Kennedy claiming the club leaked it when the owner of another website, David Leggatt and TBK's favoured organ of choice all had the info. :D

you have a fair point. perhaps said organ contacted him and he decided to get his spin on it out there.
