Frankie 8,882 Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 I agree with the general tactic in the opening post but as BB says it would fall to the Health and Sport committee up here - and they're not great to be kind. Much better to lobby Alex Salmond, Kenny MacAskill, Frank Mulholland and Shona Robison (also Nicola Sturgeon given her constituency interest) for a fully independent and full blown Inquiry. There will not be political appetite for this - it costs a lot of money - but perhaps the fact that they are lobbied and are made aware that if Scottish football hits the skids they were forewarned (and are therefore partly culpable) may elicit some kind of action. 0 Quote Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
biggordy 0 Posted July 23, 2012 Share Posted July 23, 2012 I've tried this, the mantra seems to be that a police investigation has to run its course (rubbish!), I'm still on the case and would advise targetting Tories and SNP (since Labour simply dont respnd at all). Look at what happened with Barclays/Libor, police investigation ongoing but they are hauled in front of a parliamentary committee. Our politicians simply dont have the balls to deal with this.
