I was thinking the same thing about Pressley, not the most popular player and not the best ability, but he's ten times closer to what we need than what we've got and we should be able to get him for free and on a modest enough wage.

 

We definitely need a stop gap at the back while we find someone of genuine class as well as the money for them.

totally agree there. I dont fancy him back at ibrox but id say hes better than weve got at the moment. That in its self is a real sad reflection on our defence.

I actually think he is underrated now. He wasnt the greatest under us first time but he has improved a lot with age (Levein has something to do with it IMO), and is a bit like Colin Hendry in certain ways.

 

He always gives 200% and is exactly what we need just now. He always does well for Scotland also.

Don't want Pressley near our team or the national side. Good captain but crap footballer.

 

Would love anderson, probably the best CB in the SPL. Think it's a non-starter unfortunately as it would drive my flat mate mad. (He's a sheep)

I thought the same thing as a lot of people by the looks of it. It'll never happen, but if there was a chance to get Pressley, I'd jump at it. We need someone with his leadership on the pitch and also someone like him to organise our defence.
