Agreed. I think it was a reasonable comment by Ahmad, even if it was aimed at playing to the galleries a bit, but there's not any suggestion that they need that amount to sell.

 

Agreed, the way some people viewed it as looking for £50m to sell up was simply plain wrong.

It's entirely possible that it could have been a rough indication of what sort of price they would be looking to put on shares when they float the company.

I doubt that considering the haste that they seem to be in to launch a share issue, even in times of bull markets and economic boom no SFL3 club is going to be valued at anything approaching £50m, institutional participation will be negligible at best and fans will not buy anything approaching £50m, personally I'd buy in the market as opposed to the floatation.

I took it as him acting the goat as well, so what do you think he should ask for.

 

I've said previously that anything between £8-9 million would be reasonable, but I think they've also said they're not for selling!!!

It's certainly going to be interesting when they do launch a share issue.
