Being hearing the rumours about the SPL now looking at creating an SPL 2 and including Rangers in that. How sneaky can Doncaster be? Tries to pass the buck to the SFL clubs to get more finances with Rangers in Div 1, this doesnt work out so plan B is an SPL 2. That will just end the Scottish game.

What they going to have - 2 leagues of 6? Because I cant see many SFL clubs agreeing to that! I cant even see Rangers and our support agreeing to that, we're accepting Div 3.

A total honest restructure of the game now needs to take place. Stick by the decision to make the top flight 16-18 team league, then have 2 leagues below that with a pyramid system for non-league clubs.

The top division must have 2 relegated with 2 coming up from Div 1 but the 2nd place should be via a play off system. Whether thats between clubs 2-5 in Div 1 or includes the 2nd bottom SPL team for a chance of survival, it doesnt matter because it would create interest.

Summer football must be considered for a better product.

And most importantly the 3 bodies must merge and new guys running the game must undergo the 'fit and proper' test. Id temporarily put the game in charge of high profile ex scottish players.

Aye, they'd never get away with it. The SPL was a terrible idea for Scottish football from the start, but we can't expect it not to go down fighting.

Why not revert back to two leagues in Scotland? Worked for decades, no point in keeping catch up with the rest of Europe we're f**ked anyway.

The end result will always be Rangers/septic champions what's the difference? Sure, most of the 'diddy teams' will get more money, good thing for the game unless scrupulous bottom feeders take advantage and fill their pockets and f**k off with the kitty. Concentrate on the bottom feeders firstly I think.

Aye, the great thing about this opportunity is we'll get to see the whole picture in perspective and experience it all as we go up through it.

Two leagues might work . It all needs to be a national agreement - without that it will eventually tear itself apart again.

How about a Scottish Football Conference?

Had them I'm sure....back in the day there wasn't any need for that, nowadays Rangers are in the 3rd Division and the Bheggars have a free run at catching up on our record...if someone can say "Hey! What the f**ks going on here?" and sort it out then good and all.

Trouble is, "top-down" sorting doesn't work so well, but we're in a great position to help with sorting it from the bottom up.

2 leagues would be better but there is too many clubs for that. Previously when there was 2 leagues there must have only been 36-38 team. 40 is probably the limit for 2 leagues.

But if there were Regions?

Does it really make sense for Elgin to be playing Stranraer?

This is game over for the SPL. The sfl clubs made it clear yesterday they would stick together and any restructuring must include all 42 clubs.

So that makes SPL2 a non starter. The only way the arse bandits running Scottish football will get their own way is for the sfa to parachute us into division 1.

Why are the SPL even discussing it. They made their decision so why don't they just do one. Only decision they need to make is do they allow Dundee or dunfirmline in.

Not at all annoyed about this and the prospect of these farcical organisations just ignoring the entire country to line their own pockets.
