Even if he did, and bought the old plc he wouldn't actually own a football club. I assume he would then approach Green with proposals to buy the newco and merge it with the oldco .

Green holds the assets, Di Stefano's Rangers wouldn't be the real Rangers football club, unless he bought the assets back from Green .

 

What Di Stefano would have is a NEW CLUB playing in England using our name.

Sheer specualtion, but maybe there would be potential of a merger in the future - leading to what we all want: EPL football at Ibrox.

 

It's never going to happen though. We can but dream.
