Green seems to be the only not wearing blinkers and did his best to stop their blind hatred & jealousy destroy Scottish football, unfortunately he's obviously never encountered the certain breed of idiots in charge of our game.

Do we still need to put up with this stuff?

Today had nothing to do with Green, in fact if you would take of your hate glasses for a min you would see thet steps forward he has taken the club with getting Coventry to agree Fleck was a Rangers player to sell.

Green could have told them to get to fizz, but he went along with thier continued humilation of us. I don't blame Green for our present situation, but he has to be more man like, rather than think constanly about his potential profits.

I would like to hear the official SPL explanation for this!!! Did they actually believe the clubs would change their minds, or were they just looking for a wee bit extra humiliation???

I would imagine it had more to do with being seen to punish Rangers FC.

What are you on about, who said I hated Green?

The only problem with that is Green has to play with the adults in the real world, fans can spout any old rubbish on the internet. He had to try to get us into the SPL. Plus he did not do anything like the groveling being made out.

Stoke don't see it that way so somebody must've spoke to Coventry.

Not necessarily GA. I knew someone would mention Ness, which is fair enough.

Could just as easily be that Stoke believe that they are free agents now and therefore not due training compensation (although.... given the Aluko situation last year one would think that we could drive ab us through that particular argument).

Point being that this could just be Coventry seeing an opportunity to pay "something" but not as much as if Rangers fought them for the compensation amount.

Stoke clearly dont care or dont think we are due anything.

No precedent has been set, I dont think anyway.

It wasnt even Green that made that statement, it was Malcolm Murray.

Whether we dislike the apology/grovelling or not if ANY of us were in Charles Green's position the VAST majority of us would have done the exact same thing. If you can protect your investment then you will. If that apology would have kept us in the SPL then Green would have been happy, as would many, many of our fans.

The sad aspect to all this is that it is almost certain that RFC jobs will roll for this.
