I have to say that piece does read just like a PR masterclass report. The day before the vote name three clubs that will go bust, rank up the tension and the pressure and offer an alternative. The only problem they have is the SPL clubs won't go for it, a U-turn at this stage will destroy them. Best case scenario currently is us to Div 3 with huge league reconstruction introduced next season that could see us make the top league sooner than the potential 3 seasons currently. The other alternative is we play no football at all next season and reapply to the SPL for summer. Don't discount that as a way for the SPL clubs to safeguard finance.

● A public apology must be made and Rangers must also accept responsibility for past misdemeanours.

The only thing that should be aplogised for is the non-payment of PAYE/NI - at the moment, that is the only thing we have been found guilty of.

The above quote suggests that we should be aplogising for the use of EBTs etc. Until such time that we are found guilty of EBT misuse, ot dual player contracts etc, any apology should be VERY carefully worded.

I also think it would be very wrong of CG to admit responsibility fro actions taken by previous owners/boards etc. They were not of his doing. Again, and comment should be VERY carefully worded, possibly to acknowledge the wrong doings of his predecessors, but certainly not to shoulder any responsibility himself.

If all the supporters belonging to the diddy clubs has supported their clubs a bit better financially and numerically over the years, they would not have found themselves dancing to the tune of bankers and sponsorship!

It's not as if they've all become barely solvent overnight.

Do none of the chairmen realise just how perilous a state our game is in if they're even willing to consider that clubs could go out of business if Rangers aren't in the top flight? I mean, it's a long shot, but what if we actually got relegated one year, what then? Hang integrity and make up some rule to keep us in like they did with Aberdeen?

Prejudice aside, this should be one massive wake up call for everyone connected with the game, but all they care about is hammering our club while trying not to lose too much money. It's not fixing the main problem this has highlighted.
