The rat speaks again with more excuses

At present, not a lot to be honest, we've been running at a £5m loss every year for about 20 years.

Certainly not worth £20m.

As I intimated, any buyer gets Rangers all inclusive. That includes Ibrox and Auchenhowie.

Is that 100% certain though? My understanding is that it's far from clear.

Also, I am led to believe that Auchenhowie can only be used in it's present state, and certainly not have houses built on it, and Ibrox being a listed building has it's limited usage too.

Anyway, thanks for the chat, better get back to work now :)

There's a lot of uncertainty about the club at the moment with the lack of players and the division we are playing in. However we are debt free and and got rid of potential baggage and can start afresh.

To value the club now, you have to take acocunt of the future. Where will be in in 4 or 5 years? Back in the SPL, presumably with minimal debt, and hopefully with reasonable players, and not in a loss making situation as we would not have the same level of high earners? How much is that club worth? £30m+?

If something could easily be worth £30m+ in 5 years, then what is it worth today? The value it was bought for is not that relevant. I'd say that the club could be worth £15m as it stands today. Perhaps Green has come up with the same estimate and is starting at £20m and happy to accept £15m?

I don't feel that our club is only worth £5m-£8m. It's worth far more than that in my relatively inexpert opinion, and that's what makes it frustrating that these potential buyers could not have put in half decent bids a few weeks ago.

Whilst I had hoped that Naisy would've stayed, and the rest for that matter, I can't hear any grudges with him wanting to leave.

It was/is probably Green's plans to cash in on anyone of value anyway, seeing as that's his 'Big Plan' ie. Make himself considerably richer in the immediate term.

Naismith was probably my favourite player, so he goes with my best wishes.

As for Green, he's got to go before we end up in the shite again - IMHO of course.

Personally I think you're letting them fool you.

They'd have run a mile from the lower divisions and in the direction of large signing on fees whoever owned us, but because Green is a bit of an unkown that some fans seem to be struggling to trust it gives them a convenient reason to make it out as anything other than total self interest and desire for cash.

So let me get this right, you giving your backing to a player that has walked away from the club costing the club alot of money, but at the same time you having a go at Green even though he has got a group together that has bought Rangers?

Nobody's fooling me. There isn't a modern footballer with an ounce of ambition who wouldn't jump ship once the EPL flashes it's knickers, especially with Rangers facing div1 or worse.

I wont trust Green, twice bitten, thrice shy. The fact that so many do trust him and his only contribution of note was to see the company behind Rangers getting liquidated.

I'll reserve judgement until he does something positive. Thus far, that's been the square root of fk all.

Backing someone and wishing them all the best for the future are 2 different concepts. I don't know what the schools are like in Cumbernauld, but I know a few folk from there and they're all pretty dense.

Green got a group of "20" together and he can't name most of them, even though he said he would, he's registered 3 companies http://company-director-check.co.uk/director/916889225 there's talk of him doing asset transfers etc, he can't get funding facilities from RBS, the whole thing stinks.

Tut tut personal insults just because the man hasn't the temerity to agree with you, put the toys back in the pram.

As for the RBS you start a new company and go ask them for money see how far you get.

Ok mate i will not get in a arguement with you as you have a closed mind on this subject.

I can confirm the schools are pretty good here tbh, they always seem to do well in exam results but then again i could have it all wrong as everybody is dense from here as you say.
